Market Pricing & Comps Sourcing

Purpose​

So decisions are grounded in current market pricing, not guesswork — and so we can justify what we paid.

Where to source​

  • Generally three vendor bids — these typically map to the three options in your 1-3-1.
  • Supplier / retail pricing (e.g., Home Depot) for parts and appliances.
  • Online research for typical cost ranges and lifespans.
  • Our own GL history for what comparable work has cost before.

How to use it​

Attach the comps to the Standard Approval Package so the recommendation is backed by evidence.
